The Mr. Habitat Contest features men from the local community who compete for the prestigious title of Mr. Habitat. It is loosely based as a reverse beauty pageant as men compete in different events, such childhood games to Habitat trivia while women judge. It is a night of fun and enjoyment as items are auctioned off.
These meetings will be open forum style, with a brief presentation followed by a question and answer session. The individual presentations will be tailored to the concerns of each of the locales, but will address overall parish issues like quality of life, drainage, infrastructure, hurricane protection, coastal restoration, and economic development.
