Description:
The Terrebonne Parish Tree Board will be giving away free trees for Arbor Day. The tree giveaway, sponsored by Apache Corp., a land company, will begin at 10 a.m. on Saturday Jan. 21 at the Terrebonne Main Library, 151 Library Drive, Houma. Trees will be given away first come, first serve. There are 1,000 saplings available, as well as potted trees. All are native trees.
