There is caroling and lighting of the Christmas tree.

Ala Bayou Terrebonne Christmas Boat Parade 5:30 pm - 12:00 am
Location: Beings at the Bourg Volunteer Fire Station, then proceeds south through Montegut

Description: A Christmas boat parade in Bourg and Montegut that begins at dusk in Bayou Terrebonne. Local residents decorate boats (large and small) for the season and parade down the bayou with Santa leading the way. They are greeted by the people who live along the bayou that light bon fires in their yards to welcome them as well as by the crowds that have gathered along the bayou banks.
