Parish Government Holiday Dates

As per Section 4.4 in the Terrebonne Parish Consolidated Government's Personnel Policy Manual, effective May 1, 2022, the following regular holidays are to be observed by the Terrebonne Parish Consolidated Government employees:

Note:

• If two holidays fall on the same day, only one will be observed.
• If a holiday falls on Saturday, the preceding Friday shall be observed, and if a holidays falls on Sunday, the following Monday shall be observed, unless specifically changed by the Parish President.
• The Terrebonne Parish Consolidated Government may proclaim other special holidays by resolution as it deems necessary.

Garbage Holiday Pickup

Garbage collections are suspended/canceled on New Year's Day, Mardi Gras Day, Thanksiving Day, and Christmas Day only. Click here for additional information regarding drop-off location holiday schedule.

Utility Payments

The Customer Service office located in Government Tower as well as the drive-thru in the Gabasse Street parking garage are closed on all observed holidays. Other payment options are still available, including the convenient drop-box located near the drive-thru. Additional pay options can be found on tpcg.org/cs/payoptions.
