Mr. Marmande is newly elected to the District 7 seat on Terrebonne Parish Council. Although new to the council, he brings a diverse background that includes oilfield, seafood, and land development.
He was born and raised in Dularge, LA. Mr. Marmande graduated from Vandebilt Catholic High School in 1977. He currently a seafood processor and owns Al’s Shrimp Co. in Theriot, LA. Mr. Marmande is also a member of the Wildlife and Fisheries Advisory Board.
As the council member for District 7, he will represent Dularge, Bayou Black, Dulac, and Grand Caillou areas of Terrebonne Parish. Mr. Marmande plans to protect our wetlands and coasts, improve the drainage systems, and looks forward to serving the people of District 7.
