Mr. Darrin Guidry is currently serving his second term on the Council after previously serving 8 years on the Terrebonne Levee and Conservation District and 6 years on the Terrebonne Economic Development Authority.
In addition to his duties as Councilman for District 6 he is also active in his real estate investment company.
Mr. Guidry is a 2001 graduate of Leadership Terrebonne, and has previously served as chairman of the Terrebonne Parish Republican Party, member of the Sales Tax Advisory Board, member of the Election Board of Supervisors, board member of the Houma-Terrebonne Chamber of Commerce, president and board member of the Rotary Club of Houma, board member of the Terrebonne General Medical Center Foundation and chairman and board member of the South Louisiana Center for the Arts.
He is married to the former Pamela Matherne, and together they are parents of a son, Darrin "D.J." Guidry Jr, a daughter, Brooke DeRoche Spiers, and two granddaughters, Anna Deroche and Adyn Falgout. He is a member of Maria Immacolata Catholic Church and the Immacolata Knights of Columbus.
