To attend the driver improvement school, an individual must come to City Court and sign up for the class and pay the cost. The class is held every four to six weeks at the discretion of the instructor at City Court in the courtroom. It is an eight-hour class, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., that is always held on a Saturday. This class is designed to show defensive techniques, refresh individuals on traffic laws, and show individuals how to avoid accidents, different types of crashes, and speeding.
