Anger Management - Conflict Resolution City Court of Houma
8046 Main Street
Houma, Louisiana 70360

Juveniles who plead or are found guilty of disturbing the peace or simple battery are ordered by the court to attend the Anger Management/Conflict Resolution Course.  The course is provided by facilitators from the Alchol and Drug Abuse Council (ADAC) and consists of four one-hour sessions held once a week for four weeks.

Facilitators have received special training in the area of anger management/conflict resolution and provide juveniles with the necessary tools to appropriately handle anger and deal with conflict.  The Anger Management/Conflict Resolution Course has a long history of effectiveness. The recidivism rate for juvenile successfully completing the course has ranged from 4 – 6% over the years.  Any questions regarding the course may be directed to the Clerk/Court Administrator at 868-4232, ext. 201 or ADAC at 879-2273.
